Georgian Foreign Ministry: Commission on boundary delimitation with Azerbaijan to resume its activity

Tbilisi. 28 February. REPORT.AZ/ "Several members were changed along with the main members on both sides of the commission on the delimitation of borders between Azerbaijan and Georgia,"Georgian Foreign Ministry official Vladimir Konstantinidi said.
Report's local bureau informs that, according to him, after the completion of the selection and replacement of the new members, the commission will be ready to resume its activities: "The work on this issue began in 1996. Today, two-thirds of the border has been agreed. For the remainder, there are certain differences”.
Yesterday, Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili said at a joint press conference with President Ilham Aliyev: "Relying on our friendship, we came to the decision to give instructions to update the activities of the delimitation commission and complete this work. Border is also a factor that unites us. I hope that the issue will be resolved on the basis of our friendly relations."
