Georgia ready to act as mediator between Azerbaijan and Armenia

Georgia has assumed the role of mediator between Azerbaijan and Armenia, the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili said, Report informs.
The Georgian prime minister noted that the agreement reached between the two neighboring countries is vital for the region.
“I thank the leadership of both countries. We played a very active role in this process. I personally participated in the process, talking on the phone with the leaders of the republics. We worked closely with our strategic partner, the United States. These efforts yielded a concrete result.
We are ready to act as a mediator between Azerbaijan and Armenia again,” Garibashvili said.
