French FM hopes for talks between Armenian, Azerbaijani leaders in Chisinau

France hopes that Armenia and Azerbaijan will hold a high-level dialogue in Chisinau, French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna said at a joint press conference with her Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan in Yerevan, Report informs referring to Sputnik-Armenia.

On June 1 this year, a meeting of the European Political Community is scheduled in the capital of Moldova, which will be attended by the leaders of 47 countries, as well as the EU leadership.

According to Colonna, it is necessary to expand the negotiation process between Armenia and Azerbaijan. From the minister’s point of view, it is necessary to find common ground for future meetings.

“We hope that it will be possible to hold a high-level dialogue in Chisinau, similar to the one that took place in Prague (last October),” the French minister said.
