Forest fires in Türkiye: Helicopters and UAV deployed for containment

A forest fire has broken out in the Onikisubat district of Türkiye’s Kahramanmaras province, Report informs via Turkish media.
Both air and ground efforts are currently underway to extinguish the blaze.
The firefighting operation involves four helicopters, one drone and a team of 130 personnel, including 20 volunteers. Access to the area has been restricted to ensure safety.
Additionally, another forest fire has been reported in Türkiye’s Denizli province, where similar air and ground interventions are being employed to control the situation.
The cause of both fires remains unknown.
