Forest fires erupt in Türkiye"s Bursa, Amasya provinces

A forest fire has broken out in Yenisehir district of Türkiye"s Bursa province, Report informs via Turkish media outlets.

As a precaution, authorities have closed the Bursa–Yenisehir highway to traffic. Firefighting teams are actively battling the blaze using both aerial and ground-based methods.

Meanwhile, another forest fire has been reported in Amasya province. Emergency medical personnel and firefighting units have been dispatched to the scene. The response operation includes one helicopter, 12 water tankers, and a team of 190 personnel.

The causes of both fires remain unknown at this time.
