FM: Germany ready to engage in security dialogue with Russia

Berlin is ready to conduct a serious dialogue with Russia on mutual security steps, German Foreign Minister Annalena Charlotte Alma Baerbock said after talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Report informs referring to RIA Novosti.
“Russia demanded security guarantees, and this was once again emphasized (by Lavrov at the talks). We are ready to have a serious dialogue on mutual agreements and steps that will strengthen our common European security, the security of people in Riga, Bucharest, Berlin and St. Petersburg,” she said during a press conference after the talks.
