Fire breaks out at Almaty Zoo

A fire occurred on the grounds of the Almaty Zoo, according to Kazakhstan's Ministry of Emergency Situations.

According to Report, the blaze started in a photo studio kiosk in the Medeu district on Yesenberlin Street and later spread to sightseeing electric vehicles. Firefighters quickly arrived at the scene and extinguished the fire, which covered an area of approximately 25 square meters.

Authorities confirmed that no staff members or animals were injured in the incident.

An investigation is currently underway to determine the cause of the fire.
