“Cooperation of some of NATO allies with certain terrorist organizations is unacceptable,” Head of the Communications Department of the Presidential Administration of Turkey Fahrettin Altun said at an event on the 70th anniversary of Turkey’s membership in NATO.
“Turkey had to fight ISIS and PKK in Syria simultaneously. We fought successfully. However, we did not receive the support we expected from our NATO allies. The fight against terrorism in Syria should have been and should be on the agenda of NATO.”
