Facebook banning ads from Russian state media

In connection with the situation around Ukraine, Facebook is prohibiting Russian state media from running ads or monetization on its platform, Report informs, citing a tweet by Nathaniel Gleicher, head of Facebook's cybersecurity department.
According to him, Facebook "is closely monitoring the situation in Ukraine".
“We are now prohibiting Russian state media from running ads or monetizing on our platform anywhere in the world,” he said.
