European Commission launches new system to support Ukraine

The European Commission (EC) has launched a new system for companies to provide support to Ukraine, Report informs.
“As part of Stand Up For Ukraine, we launched a new system for companies to donate in-kind support. From vaccines and medication to tents, the millions of people who are fleeing Putin’s bombs need and deserve all our support,” EC President Ursula von der Leyen tweeted.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and EC President Ursula von der Leyen will host a global pledging event on 9 April, in partnership with Global Citizen.
Leaders, artists, citizens from all around the world will join Stand Up For Ukraine to help cater for the needs of the refugees and internally displaced.
