EU reaches political agreement on new anti-Russian sanctions

Baku. 19 February. REPORT.AZ/ The European Union has reached a political agreement on the imposition of new sanctions against Russia, Report informs citing foreign media.
High Representative/Vice-President of the European Union Federica Mogherini said this during a press conference following the first day of the meeting of EU foreign ministers on Monday.
"I can confirm that there is political consensus on some further measures to be taken – personal, targeted sanctions. I believe the formal adoption of the legal acts will be finalized in the coming days," Mogherini said.
