EU ambassadors agree to extend sanctions against Lukashenko

The ambassadors of the European Union countries agreed on extending sanctions against the regime of President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and his entourage for one more year, Brussels correspondent of Radio Liberty Rikard Jozwiak tweeted, Report informs via RBC-Ukraine.
"EU ambassadors have agreed to a 1-year extension of visa bans/asset freezes for 195 people and 34 organizations from Belarus, including Lukashenko and his inner circle," he wrote.
Earlier, it was reported that representatives of the EU countries were going to finally agree on the tenth package of sanctions against Russia and the restriction against Belarus at a meeting on February 22.
