EU ambassadors agree on ninth package of sanctions against Russia

Ambassadors of the 27 member states of the EU have agreed on the ninth package of sanctions against Russia because of the hostilities in Ukraine, Report informs referring to the Twitter page of the Czech Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
“Ambassadors agreed in principle on a sanctions package against Russia as part of the EU’s ongoing support for Ukraine. The third Russia sanctions package negotiated under EU2022CZ should be confirmed via written procedure tomorrow,” reads the tweet.
