EU Ambassador: Ukraine will need hundreds of billions of euros or dollars to recover

The restoration of Ukraine will require hundreds of billions of euros or dollars, head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine Matti Maasikas said, Report informs, citing Ukrainian media.

Discussions on the part of international partners have just begun: how to raise these funds, how to manage them in cooperation with Ukraine, he said, adding that there must be strong participation from Ukraine.

Maasikas said no one wants and can decide better than you what exactly this money will be needed for.

He emphasized that more technical and financial discussions on this issue are ongoing.
