Eris virus detected in 9 people in Türkiye

EG.5.1. - Eris virus, mutated omicron, one of the variants of COVID-19, was detected in 9 people in Türkiye, Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said on X, Report informs.
"They have international contacts and are in the same province. We will continue with the current measures and our daily lives. The situation is common in other countries, and it is likely to occur in us as well. We will protect our elders and chronically ill patients," he wrote.
