Turkiye has successfully tackled the global pandemic, President of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at the Turkic World Medical Congress held in Istanbul, Report's Turkish bureau informs.
"We did this with our health services and the aid we sent to other countries," he said.
The head of state noted that all available opportunities were mobilized for the sake of humanity: "Even now, there is a food crisis. Russia and Ukraine account for a third of the world's wheat supply. You see our efforts in this issue."
He noted that Turkiye will continue its efforts for the sake of humanity.
