Erdogan: Turkiye cannot give up on Ukraine or Russia

Turkiye can’t give up on either Ukraine or Russia, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in response to a question whether Turkiye could impose military, economic or political sanctions against Russia, Report informs referring to Haberturk.

“If you say give up on Ukraine, we won’t be able to do so, if you say give up on Russia, we won’t do it, either, because our relations are developing. We want to resolve this issue without giving up on anyone. Therefore, we attach great importance to the summit of NATO leaders, where we will find out what the leaders of the countries think. After that, we will act on our own,” the Turkish leader stressed.
