Erdogan: Türkiye aims to increase trade with Poland

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has met with Polish President Karol Nawrocki, Report informs via Haber Global.

The two heads of state held a one-on-one meeting in Ankara.

Following the talks, Erdogan and Nawrocki held a joint press conference, during which the Polish President stated his country's interest in developing defense cooperation with Türkiye.

"We will participate in the NATO summit in Ankara and discuss the Russian-Ukrainian conflict and its resolution. At the same time, we will exchange views on the prospects for cooperation between Poland and Türkiye in various areas, beyond defense," he said.

For his part, Recep Tayyip Erdogan noted that Türkiye plans to increase trade with Poland to $15 billion.
