Erdogan says Türkiye will continue efforts for recognition of Palestine

Residents of Gaza have confirmed their commitment to peace, but Israel is increasing tensions in the region, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said, Report informs.
He made the remarks during joint press statements with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
"We will continue our efforts for the recognition of the State of Palestine and the protection of its territorial integrity," Erdogan said.
According to him, security must be ensured immediately for the restoration of the Gaza Strip.
