Erdogan’s advisor: Turkiye’s position in Russia-Ukraine war - historical task

Ankara believes that in political terms, the Turkiye-Russia-Ukraine trilateral meeting within the Antalya Diplomacy Forum was more useful than the meetings in Belarus. That’s because the parties have come together to seek peaceful ways, Turkish presidential advisor, member of the Committee on Security and Foreign Policy of the Turkish Presidential Administration Mesut Hakki Casin told the Turkish bureau of Report.

He said that Turkiye’s position in the Ukrainian-Russian war is a historical task. He noted that Russia’s recognition of Turkiye as a guarantor in solving the problem is an indicator of Turkiye’s specific role in the region.

“In this sense, I can say that the world community sees Azerbaijan’s efforts to establish peace in the region,” the advisor added.
