Erdogan, Pashinyan discuss Türkiye-Armenia normalization

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has held a phone call with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Report informs, citing the Turkish Presidential Administration's Directorate of Communications on X.
The Directorate said Pashinyan congratulated the Turkish president on the recent Eid al-Adha holiday during the conversation, adding that the sides also discussed the process of normalizing Türkiye-Armenia bilateral relations and regional issues.
Erdogan said normalization between Türkiye and Armenia was continuing through steps aimed at launching direct trade.
It was also noted that Türkiye is making efforts for peace and stability in the region and will always support steps to be taken in this direction.
