Erdogan hopes to meet with Putin in September

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said he expects to meet his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin ‘face to face’ in September, Report informs referring to Turkish media.
“In September there will be a G20 meeting in India and a UN General Assembly in the US. If we find an opportunity in this busy environment, we will meet and talk with Putin face to face,” he said.
Russian Presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told reporters earlier that Putin and Erdogan agreed to determine exactly the place and timing of the meeting as soon as possible. He noted that the upcoming agenda of the talks between the two leaders includes bilateral relations, the Ukrainian crisis and the grain deal.
