The European Union will clearly be unable to retain its strength without Turkey, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said a statement on the Day of Europe, Report informs, citing Anadolu.
"The main obstacle on the European Union's way to becoming a strong actor in the global area is its intolerance and shortsightedness. Turkey, which is part of Europe in terms of history, geography, and humanity, is ready to do what it can to address the community's problems and raise its influence. Without our country, the European Union will clearly be unable to retain its strength," Erdogan said.
