Erdoğan discusses Iran-US tensions with UAE president

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a phone call with President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
According to Report, the Turkish Presidency"s Directorate of Communications said that during the call, the sides discussed bilateral relations between Türkiye and the UAE, as well as regional and global issues.
Erdoğan said cooperation between Türkiye and the UAE would continue to expand in many areas, particularly the defense industry and the economy. He emphasized that efforts to further develop relations between the two countries were continuing.
The Turkish president noted that Ankara was making efforts to end tensions between Iran and the United States, as well as other conflicts and developments in the region.
Erdoğan said Türkiye would continue its diplomatic initiatives aimed at promoting peace and stressed that they would never accept attacks against brotherly countries in the region. He also emphasized the importance of cooperation between Türkiye and the UAE on other regional issues.
