Erdogan and Rahmon mull bilateral and regional issues

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a telephone conversation with his Tajik counterpart Imomali Rahmon, Report informs, citing the the Turkish President's Directorate of Communications.
Erdogan and Rahmon discussed the Turkish-Tajik relations and regional processes, especially the situation in Afghanistan.
Erdogan congratulated Rahmon on the 30th anniversary of Tajikistan's independence. He said that Turkey would continue to support the Central Asian republic as the first to recognize its independence.
