COVID death toll reaches 8,617 in Armenia

Armenia confirmed 22 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the nationwide tally to 422,574, Report informs, citing the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health.

The death toll has reached 8,617 as one more succumbed to the deadly pathogen.

So far, 410,406 patients have recovered from the infection.

There are currently over 2,173 active coronavirus cases in Armenia.
