COVID death toll exceeds 7,500 in Georgia

Over the past day, 3,212 more people have tested positive for coronavirus in Georgia.

The country has reported 5,017 COVID recoveries and 81 deaths, Report's Georgian Service informs with reference to the Georgian Government.

Georgia has recorded a total of 556,909 cases of coronavirus infection since the pandemic began. To date, 502,534 of them have recovered, while 7,563 have died.

As of September 2, there are 46,786 active COVID cases in the country.
