COVID-19 cases hit 50 in Georgian Kvemo-Kartli

The Georgian town of In Kvemo-Kartli, which is predominantly inhabited by Azerbaijanis, has confirmed 50 coronavirus cases. Governor of Kvemo-Kartli Shota Rekhviashvili said that 8 of those infected recovered, while one patient died.

Moreover, eight more people tested positive for COVID-19 in Bolnisi.

Rekhviashvili said the infected are family members of emergency medical workers.
