Convicts attacked prison staff in the Kalmykia region of Russia, Report informs, citing the country's Investigative Committee.
As a result of the attack, one person was killed, and seven more were wounded.
Two convicts committed an attack, and they used a sharpened plate and a hand-made ax armature.
