Chief infectionist: Georgia experiencing third wave of pandemic

"Georgia is going through the third wave of the coronavirus pandemic," Amiran Gamkrelidze, director of Georgia's Center for Disease Control and Public Health, said at a briefing, Report informs.
He noted that the the epidemiological situation in the country is deteriorating: "A third wave of the virus spread is observed in a number of countries. We can say that Georgia has also entered its third wave of the pandemic."
