A swearing-in ceremony of President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan has got underway in Ankara, Report's employee sent to Ankara informs.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva are attending the ceremony.

In addition, the heads of state and government of a number of countries are taking part in the event.

Erdogan took the oath in the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye on June 3.

Then he visited the tomb of the founder of the Turkish Republic, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, in the Anitkabir mausoleum.
