Central Bank Governor Galstyan: Peace treaty with Azerbaijan to provide Armenia with significant inflow of investments

Armenia will be able to ensure a significant influx of foreign investment into its own economy if it signs a peace agreement with Azerbaijan, the head of the Central Bank of Armenia Martin Galstyan said at a session of the National Assembly, Report informs referring to Armenian media.
"The signals and responses received from international partners regarding the peace process [between Azerbaijan and Armenia] are very positive….(…)…If the peace agreement is signed, Armenia will be able to significantly reduce the existing risks and ensure a significant influx of foreign investment," Galstyan noted.
The head of the Central Bank did not rule out that Armenia's economic growth indicators may be revised in this regard.
