"It's not easy to end the war in Ukraine," Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said, Report informs.
According to him, Turkiye had no initiative to bring the West and Russia together: "But thanks to us, Russia and Ukraine sat behind the negotiating table. The foreign ministers of both sides held a discussion. The presidents have not met yet."
Cavusoglu said there will be peace someday: "It should be fair, especially for Ukraine. There are issues that Russia and the West should discuss. Of course, we are always ready to contribute. But we have not taken the initiative yet."
