First academy to train political leaders opens in Caucasus

The Union-Apolitical (non-political) Academy has been inaugurated in the Caucasus region.
According to Report's Georgian bureau, the institution will operate as a branch of the Global Apolitical Academy.
The Apolitical Academy founders are Vera Kobalia, former Minister of Economic and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Nino Zambakhidze, Chairman of the Farmers' Association, and Valery Chekheriya, former Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Finance.
The "Union" is the first political Academy in the region for politicians and those preparing to hold public office. The non-profit organization aims to strengthen the network of ethical and innovative political leaders in Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, and the North Caucasus.
