Bayramov: Region between Europe and Asia cannot remain aloof from global problems

The region located between Europe and Asia cannot remain unaffected by the negative processes occurring globally and in the region, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said at a press conference following the 10th meeting of the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Türkiye, Report informs.

Bayramov emphasized that at the meeting, the ministers discussed developments surrounding Iran and issues of achieving peace in the Middle East.

The minister emphasized the importance of adhering to the norms and principles of international law in conflict resolution.

"We should prioritize political and diplomatic methods. Achieving a ceasefire and transforming it into a lasting peace is a key issue for all parties," the Azerbaijani foreign minister said.

He also noted that the trilateral cooperation format between Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Türkiye ensures coordinated efforts on regional issues.
