Baghaei hails Ghalibaf's visit to Baku as successful

The recent visit of Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf to Azerbaijan was successful, Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said, as quoted by Report, which cites Azad Iran.

"It was a multi-purpose trip to participate in an international summit, and I consider it successful," Baghaei said.

He noted that it is extremely important for Iran to use the opportunities of parliamentary diplomacy to clarify the country's position and strengthen relations with other states.

Ghalibaf took part in the 20th session of the Conference of the Parliamentary Union of OIC Member States in Baku.
