Azerbaijan's ASAN Service model presented at UN forum in Tbilisi

A delegation led by Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of Azerbaijan, is participating in the UN Public Service Forum in Tbilisi.

According to Report's Georgia bureau, Mehdiyev spoke at the forum about reforms in Azerbaijan's public service delivery and the achievements of the ASAN Service model.

He emphasized that citizen-oriented public services are a key pillar of governance under President Ilham Aliyev's leadership, with ASAN Service serving as a successful brand recognized internationally for its principles of transparency, innovation, accessibility, and citizen satisfaction.

"The ASAN Service model, which is accepted today as one of the most advanced examples in the field of organization of public services in the world, is a successful brand created by Azerbaijan, more precisely, by President Ilham Aliyev. This model has enabled the establishment of services based on the principles of citizen satisfaction, transparency, innovation, and accessibility," he emphasized.

Mehdiyev highlighted the importance of the volunteer program, noting that young people and students assist citizens in using digital services and innovative technologies, while also identifying challenges that help improve service processes.

He added that the agency makes extensive use of data-driven management tools and artificial intelligence, including a special AI assistant that monitors service centers in real time and provides regular reports to enhance service quality.

The UN Public Service Forum serves as a platform for international exchange of experiences in governance, digital transformation, and innovative service models.
