Azerbaijan, Georgia discuss cooperation in higher education

Minister of Education of Azerbaijan Emin Amrullayev visited Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) and met with the rector Giorgi Sharvashidze.
According to Report, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Georgia Faig Guliyev also attended the meeting.
The sides discussed cooperation issues between Azerbaijan and Georgia in the field of higher education and deepening inter-university relations.
The rector of TSU provided the minister with detailed information about the activities and educational programs of the 104-year-old university. Sharvashidze expressed readiness to strengthen collaboration with Azerbaijani universities.
The Minister of Education then met with a group of Azerbaijani students studying at TSU.
