Axios: US, Iran agree to halt attacks, meeting planned in Doha

The United States and Iran have agreed to stop attacking each other, a senior US official told Axios, Report informs.

It was noted that the two sides plan to meet on Tuesday in Doha, Qatar, to address disputes over the Strait of Hormuz.

Axios correspondent Barak Ravid wrote on X that, according to one of his sources, the parties had initially planned consultations in Switzerland on Tuesday to discuss Iran's nuclear program.

However, due to recent tensions, Washington and Tehran decided to change both the location and focus of the talks. The American source added that the US delegation will be led by technical group head Nick Stuart.
