At least 343 children killed in Russia's war in Ukraine

As a result of Russia's war in Ukraine, 343 children have died and 635 have received various injuries, Report informs, citing the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine.

Children suffered the most in the Donetsk (339), Kharkiv (185), Kyiv (116), Chernihiv (68), Luhansk (61), Mykolaiv (53), Kherson (52), Zaporizhzhia (31) and Sumy (17) oblasts.

The figures are expected to be higher since 'it is hard to establish them in sites of active hostilities, in temporarily occupied and newly liberated territories.'

In the early hours of July 1, Russian troops fired missiles at the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district of the Odesa Oblast. As a result, a 10-year-old boy died, and two minors - 4 and 17 years old - sustained injuries.
