Armenian prosecutors seek criminal proceedings against Kocharyan

Armenia's Prosecutor General's Office has appealed to the Central Election Commission (CEC) with a motion to allow the launch of criminal proceedings against former President Robert Kocharyan, leader of the Armenia bloc.

Report informs, citing Armenian media, that this was stated by the CEC press service.

In addition to Kocharyan, the possibility of launching criminal proceedings against parliamentary candidates Asatur Kocharyan and Ruslan Barseghyan is also being considered.

Earlier, Robert Kocharyan was banned from leaving the country at Zvartnots airport.
