Armenian president signs decree calling snap parliamentary elections

The President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian has signed a decree calling snap parliamentary elections for June 20, Report informs, citing the president’s press service.
“Based on the requirements of Articles 92 and 93 of the Constitution and the dissolution of Parliament, President Sarkissian signed a decree on early elections to the National Assembly on June 20, 2021. The decree comes into force the day after its official publication,” reads the message of the press service.
