Armenian PM speaks about his country's aspirations to join EU

Armenia wants to become a member of the European Union, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a press conference, Report informs via Armenian media.
"Our European colleagues are asking whether the law adopted in Armenia on the beginning of the EU accession process means that Armenia wants to become a member of the EU. My answer is: Yes, Armenia wants to become a member of the EU," Pashinyan said.
He noted that during meetings and discussions, the Armenian and European sides stated that this is not an easy process.
"Firstly, all EU members must agree with this, and secondly, the country must meet EU standards," Pashinyan added.
