The Armenian Ministry of Health is mulling the possible introduction of paid services for the in-patient treatment of coronavirus.
Report informs, citing Sputnik Armenia, that the unvaccinated people will have to pay 800,000 drams ($1,700) for treatment of COVID-19.
While the virus continues to mutate, the vaccination rates remain low in the country.
The ministry's decision is dictated by the willingness to intensify the vaccination process and increase the effectiveness of the fight against new coronavirus strains.
