Armenian FM Ararat Mirzoyan discloses his income

Armenian Foreign Minister (MFA) Ararat Mirzoyan has purchased a house with money he received from undisclosed sources, Report informs via local press.

The minister reportedly declared two real estate properties last year - an apartment and a mansion. According to the Armenian press report, his wife bought a mansion worth 112 million drams ($280,000) in the Nairi community of Armenia's Kotayk province in 2022.

Mirzoyan also declared about $30,000 in bank accounts, as well as 2.8 million drams ($7,000) in cash. The minister's income last year amounted to 24.7 million drams ($62,000).

"Considering that in 2021 he sold an apartment worth 34 million drams ($85,000), the origin of part of the 112 million drams ($280,000) is still unknown," says the press report.

Mirzoyan has served as Armenia's Foreign Minister since 2021 following a tenure as the speaker of parliament.
