Armenian Deputy PM, US Ambassador discuss opening of communications in South Caucasus

Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan and US Ambassador to Yerevan Kristina Kvien discussed the prospects for opening communications in the South Caucasus, Report informs via Armenian media outlets.
During the meeting, the parties emphasized the importance of the agreements reached between Armenia and Azerbaijan in Washington on August 8, as well as the memorandums of understanding (MoUs) signed between the US and Armenia.
In this context, an exchange of views was held on the development opportunities for Armenia-US relations and the prospects for opening communications in the region.
