Armenian Consulate General to open in Tabriz in near future

The Armenian Foreign Ministry will open a consulate general in Tabriz.
Report informs citing the Armenian media that a resolution in this regard was adopted at a government meeting on Thursday.
An agreement on the opening of the Consulate General was reached with the Iranian side during the opening of the Iranian Consulate General in Kafan. The ceremony, which took place on October 21, 2022, was attended by the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Iran Ararat Mirzoyan and Hossein Amir Abdollahian.
