Armenia tranfers some lands in Gafan, Mehri and Tegh to Russian FSB

At its meeting on May 27, the Armenian government decided to present some land plots in Gafan, Meghri, Gorus, and Tegh regions to the Border Department of the Russian Federal Security Service for free use.
The decision aims to strengthen Armenia's southeastern borders, Report informs, citing Sputnik Armenia.
According to the decision, after signing a tripartite statement between the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Russia and the Prime Minister of Armenia on November 10, 2020, there was a need to strengthen the southeastern borders of Armenia. Therefore, Yerevan allocated the necessary land for this purpose.
The decision was made without any discussions.
