Armenia sees record rise in COVID-19 death toll

Armenia confirmed 1,836 new coronavirus cases, bringing the nationwide case tally to 68,530, Report says, citing the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health.
The death toll reached 1,121 as 20 fell victims to the virus. So far, 49,219 people have recovered from the infection.
There are currently 17,869 active COVID-19 patients in Armenia.
