Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan has called for resistance against political forces in parliament that oppose the normalization process between Baku and Yerevan, according to Armenian media, cited by Report.
"Now the so-called 'three-headed party of war' is casting doubt on this peace agreement (with Azerbaijan - ed.). It turns out that there is a force in the Armenian parliament that does not accept the architecture of peace. This creates threats and provokes direct reactions. We must see these cause-and-effect links and resist them," Pashinyan said in parliament.
He referred to the "three-headed party of war" as three opposition political forces: Strong Armenia, the Armenia bloc, and Prosperous Armenia.
He also added that members of the Strong Armenia and Armenia blocs who entered parliament after the elections are part of an intelligence network and that their seats were obtained through voter bribery.
"This intelligence network must be eradicated. Otherwise, they will do everything to revive the conflict and unleash war. We are currently managing the situation confidently, but our people must also understand this," he said.
Pashinyan stressed that any threat to Armenia's future must be eliminated at its source.
